Series 1450

Here you can configure your e-chain system® individually. All entries and changes are taking over to the part list which is situated at the end of the page.

Series 1450 - half tube snap-open along inner radius

1. Optimised opening system for the quick opening of crossbars, either from the left or right
2. Double stop system for large unsupported lengths

Please note: Before using this series on long travels, please consult igus®. We recommend an e-chain® that is openable in the outer radius for long travels. Example: Series 1500

Series 1450 is suitable for the following types of applications:

Vertical: hanging applications ≤ 20 m, standing applications ≤ 2,0 m
Horizontal: unsupported applications ≤ 1,75 m, gliding applications (upon consultation)
rotary: rotating applications may be possible, please contact us

When to use Series 1450

When a medium-sized, strong system (e-chains®, half e-tubes, completely enclosed e-tubes) with 21 mm inner height is required
If an inner width up to 125 mm is required
For unsupported lengths up to 1,75 m and fill weights up to 2,0 kg/m
If an opening system is required to quickly open from either the left or right

When not to use Series 1450

If higher strength is required
System E4.1, Series E4.21
For very simple applications
easy chain®, E14 series
If e-tubes with smaller bend radii are required
easy chain®, Series E14

Option 1: Standard Separators can be placed anywhere in the chain's cross-section to divide the interior of the e-chain® - As standard, separators are fitted every 2nd chain link!

Vertical separation in e-tubes. Due to its slots, it allows basic vertical/horizontal interior separations.

21.1.Z Strain relief separator
Can be integrated in the mounting bracket and can be placed in any position. Simultaneous strain relief and interior separation of the e-chains®.

Full-width shelf 110.X
Recommended if many thin cables with similar diameters are used. For comprehensive separation. Full-width shelves can be arranged in steps of 5,75 mm on 3 levels.
